How is the career coaching arranged?

This service comprises five individual sessions with a career coach, 1 hour each in online or offline format. After each consultation you will have a homework task, as well as feedback with answers to any questions at your convenience.

During the first consultation, you:

• will position yourself in the labour market;
• understand your strengths and weaknesses as an employee.

Specialists from Adros Baltija will evaluate your resume and give recommendations for improvements.

After the first meeting you will have two homework tasks.

During the second meeting, you:

• will create your professional resume;
• determine your desired workplace, position, duties and salary;
• watch a video course on how to pass the job interview

After the second meeting, you will have two homework tasks.

During the third session, you:

• will pass a real job interview;
• understand how to answer an employer’s complicated questions, what information about yourself your are expected to disclose and what to withhold;
• get recommendations for the job interview dress code;
• master the self-tuning methods for successfully passing the interview.

After the third meeting you will have two homework tasks as well.

During the fourth consultation, you:

• will make a list of companies in which you would like to work;
• will find employers’ direct contacts;
• get recommendations for training self-presentation skills and the ability to pass a job interview successfully;

After the fourth meeting you will be given just one homework task.

During the fifth meeting with the career coach, you:

• will find out what psychological attitudes hinder your career development, and consider those;
• will adjust your job search strategy and tactics;
• consider your fears that prevent you from naming the desired amount of remuneration boldly and confidently without being afraid to be refused and without agreeing to less.

Our longtime practice shows that many candidates are not sufficiently self-confident and sometimes suggest a salary that is lower than their desired level. During the career coaching we will consider all your questions in more detail, help you build a career development strategy, as well as considering psychological aspects which will help you conduct negotiations and find a desired job easily and without stress.
