Chief Accountant

Currently, the company is looking for a strong Chief Accountant with experience in financial and management accounting, who will lead accounting operations, coordinate communication with banks and tax authorities, and provide accurate reports to management for decision-making.

The role :
Chief Accountant

Main responsibilities:

• Organize and manage the company’s accounting in compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management decision-making;
• Cooperate with banks, auditors, and public authorities;
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, payments, and fixed asset accounting;
• Coordinate audits and tax inspections;
• Supervise one subordinate.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Economics or Finance;
• At least 10 years of experience as a Chief Accountant (preferably in a manufacturing company);
• Strong proficiency in 1C and MS Office;
• Fluent Latvian and good English skills for communication with international partners;
• Strong analytical skills and a high sense of responsibility.
