Due to team growth, UXDA is looking for a Head of Design Operations to refine design team work quality, mature the operational workflow and processes, and systemize delivery across large-scale client projects.

Head of Design Operations at UXDA will lead a strong design team, work with leading financial institutions, and help shape digital products and financial experiences used by millions of people around the world.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and continuously improve the design team’s operating model, ensuring scalable and efficient workflows
- Establish and maintain Design System governance, including standards, documentation, contribution processes, reviews, approvals, and adoption across the organization
- Drive design quality by implementing consistent review processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop the design team’s capabilities by improving onboarding, knowledge sharing, resource planning, and team development
- Act as a strategic partner for clients and internal stakeholders, confidently presenting and justifying design decisions while connecting them to business outcomes
- Analyze team performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements to increase quality, efficiency, and delivery predictability
- Introduce and optimize tools, AI solutions, and operational frameworks that enhance collaboration, workflow management, and design excellence
- Work closely with company leadership to shape and execute the long-term strategy for UXDA’s Design Operations function
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or Digital Service Design
- Proven experience leading design teams and improving design operations or delivery processes
- Strong expertise in Design Systems and scalable design governance.
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement long-term improvements
- Experience optimizing workflows, processes, and cross-functional collaboration
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Components, Auto Layout, Variables, and Libraries
- Experience working with international clients and complex digital products
- Fluent English for working with international clients, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, ownership, emotional intelligence, and collaborative mindset
- Previous experience in fintech, digital banking, or product-led organizations will be considered an advantage
